I was a latchkey kid left all alone
Learning the hard way I had to make it on my own
On those hot summer nights I'd roam the city streets
Just trying to find my way running wild and being free
Looking back through bloodshot eyes
Remembering those childhood ties
When nothing ever stood in our way
It was us verse them and we stood tall
Never back down and never fall
Counting back the years
Watching them disappear
Incredible Oi from a who's who of great Punk and Oi groups.;7 I hope this band is a permanent project or the full-time band for the members involved. It's hitting on all cylinders- the lyrics are thoughtful and perfect for group sing along with the band. Definitely a 1 in 100 band--- by that I mean 99 other bands could try to attempt what the Chartbusters are doing and they would fall flat on their asses. Track 11 is the rally cry folks---- it's okay to have pride...in ones self, their family, their country, and their heritage without it being considered fascist, racist,or an act of war.
Chartbusters---- more please! East Bay Working Class
