Our general was on the march with flags raised to the sky
The struggle for independence was about to change the tide
In trenches they anchored low with their canons pointing down
When the smoke cleared it was victory in the battle for Yorktown
The allied guns were raised
They fired night and day
In a siege to end it all and throw away the crown
Full honors were denied as they marched between the lines
Taking back the town on the day the world turned upside down
Old rags tied to their feet but still they held the line
Black powder was burning lead it was time to do or die
Bloodstained and battle worn fighting to the end
Standing up for liberty and freedom to defend
I already had the 7" from this great band. Great old school sounding hardcore/ Oi! that can't be pigeonholed into one genre or the other. They remind me of some of my favorite East Coast bands ,but definitely unique sounding with great sing along lyrics. They quit making em like this so it's nice to have these guys putting out music in an age where SHIT rules the musical landscape. East Bay Working Class
Incredible Oi from a who's who of great Punk and Oi groups.;7 I hope this band is a permanent project or the full-time band for the members involved. It's hitting on all cylinders- the lyrics are thoughtful and perfect for group sing along with the band. Definitely a 1 in 100 band--- by that I mean 99 other bands could try to attempt what the Chartbusters are doing and they would fall flat on their asses. Track 11 is the rally cry folks---- it's okay to have pride...in ones self, their family, their country, and their heritage without it being considered fascist, racist,or an act of war.
Chartbusters---- more please! East Bay Working Class
Heady hardcore punk from Black Aubergine has groove, heft, and an experimental edge percolating behind the blown-out surface. Bandcamp New & Notable May 23, 2023
I'm not sure what they put in the water in the state of PA.,but whatever it is produces tough as nails Oi. Boot Rally has that great gruff American Oi sound that I love. Its a soundtrack for a 40 hour week-- or for breaking a bottle over some mouthy prick's head. East Bay Working Class
